We run no commissioned affiliate links to crypto exchanges. Under ASIC’s INFO 269, a unique tracked link that pays a commission per click-through into an exchange is likely to be “dealing by arranging” — a licensable financial service that the media exemption does not cover. Every exchange link on this site is uncommissioned.

Where we do use affiliate links — hardware wallets and crypto tax software, which are goods and software rather than financial products — the link is labelled at the point of the link, and the relationship never affects what we write. Negative findings about a paying partner are published unchanged.
